The portrait photography opportunities here are unsurpassed. Added to this, you will be exposed to the cullinary delights and fascinating local culture. In Cape Town you will have the opportunity to explore Cape Point and Boulder's Beach, home to an African Penguin colony, as well as other iconic spots on the Cape Peninsula. You will also get to spend a day in the Cape Winelands where you can savour the flavour of the food and wine and soak up the spectacular scenery. A trip up Table Mountain is a must-do activity. For those interested in the local history, there is plenty to see in Cape Town itself and Robben Island is a short boat ride across Table Bay. |

OVERVIEW For those people looking for a pristine wilderness experience, Botswana is the place to visit. This 11-night itinerary takes in some of the highlights of this spectacular country. You will have the opportunity to explore the iconic Okavango Delta, both from a vehicle on land (and occasionally in the water) and from a boat or mokoro on the water. This safari offers contrasting experiences throughout. Aside from having the opportunity to explore diverse habitats, you will also see some fantastic game. On this safari, you will be transferred between the camps on light aircrafts. These short flights will give you the opportunity to view this majestic wilderness area from above. You will be in awe as a tapestry of greens and blues unravels below you. Your accommodation throughout will be in luxury tented accommodation. This allows you to truly experience the sounds of the African night. You will nod off to sleep to the distant whoop of a spotted hyaena or the chorus of the reed frogs in the Okavango Delta.

OVERVIEW This 3-night itinerary will give you the opportunity to explore the majestic Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the world. You will stay on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. The Victoria Falls can be accessed either from the town of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe or from the town of Livingstone in Zambia. Both towns are easily accessed from Johannesburg or from a Botswana safari through Kasane. Depending on the time of year that you travel as well as your budget, we will recommend the camp that is best for you. You will have the opportunity to do a guided tour of the falls. A sunset cruise on the Zambezi River is one of the finer ways to spend a late afternoon in Africa. For the more adventurous, there are helicopter flights over the falls as well as white-water rafting (seasonal) and bungee jumping. For those looking for more safari activities, game drives are conducted in the Zambezi National Park in Zimbabwe and the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia. A day trip can also be arranged to the world-renowned Chobe National Park. |

OVERVIEW This 3-night itinerary will take you into the pristine wilderness of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. During your stay, you will visit Deception Valley which is famed for its cheetah and lion sightings, particularly after the summer rains have fallen and antelope such as springbok and oryx congreagte there to feed. This is a truly spectacular wilderness area. The arid environment here is in stark contrast to the lush Okavango Delta. For someone who has been on safari before and is looking for a different experience we strongly recommend that you visit the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The endless horizons and open space, the jeweled night sky together with the sound of the barking geckos at dusk will be some of the things that will remain with you long after you return from the Central Kalahari. The Central Kalahari is ideal in combination with the Best of Botswana itinerary. |
|
OVERVIEW This 7-night itinerary takes in the best game viewing in Tanzania. It combines a trip to the Ngorongoro Crater with a stay in the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. You will have the chance of seeing the wildebeest migration on this safari, and depending on the time of year that you travel, you may be lucky enough to witness them crossing the Mara River making for thrilling interactions. Game-viewing aside, you will also be exposed to the Masai people and their culture. For anyone looking for a safari where they will see plenty of animals in a short space of time, this is the trip. |

OVERVIEW This 3-night itinerary will give you incredible opportunities to view the iconic Mountain Gorillas. Rwanda is a fascinating country and the Volcanoes National Park, where you will trek the gorillas, is easily accessible from the capital city, Kigali. This itinerary includes 2 gorilla treks giving you an opportunity to observe and admire these amazing creatures that remind us so much of ourselves.
